Consultation & Operating Room Design
Endosurgery Cayman distributes and consults only on products
and equipment that we personally use, or that are of unquestionable
quality and/or innovation. Operating room design with installation
of the Richard Wolf CORE-system (please see below) is part
of this service, with consultation by experts from the company
in Germany.

Richard
Wolf is in our opinion the premier manufacturer of
endoscopic surgical equipment with a long reputation of
outstanding quality and innovation. The outstanding CORE-system
(Complete Operating Room Endoscopy) automates endoscopic
surgery, placing the surgeon in command of functions such
as CO2 insufflation, table adjustment etc. with an autoclaveable
remote control, or, if chosen, voice control. Examples
of innovative equipment are the gynaecological chip aspirating
resectoscope by Gallinat (RW is the only company providing
this technology) and the Recto Lution reusable instrument
that just revolutionizes anoscopy with clear visualization
of the anal sphincter and making documentation of findings
possible.

Confluent
Surgical manufactures SprayGel, possibly the only
product proven to reduce adhesions. Patients have been
going to Europe for surgeries, as SprayGel has been approved
for use in Europe and the UK. SprayGel is available locally
and this is an important reason why Dr Harry Reich operates
here.

The
Mobius retractor is revolutionizing open surgery,
especially cesarean section and enabling surgeons to perform
mini-laparotomy for excision of large fibroids (due to
excellent exposure).

Erbe electrosurgery
manufactures the only electrosurgerical generator that
is advanced enough in a single unit to be used in the
whole gamut of applications including monopolar and bipolar
cutting and coagulation. Different units are required
from companies to provide the same applications that the
Erbe ERBE VIO system can provide in a single unit. There

Endosurgery Cayman is specially licensed
to organise educational meetings. The first meeting was a
small, but successful endoscopic surgical workshop at the
Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital in October 2006. Dr Adolf
Gallinat, Dr Reich and Dr. Richter presented the course. Dr
Gallinat is of the same stature in hysteroscopic surgery as
Dr Reich is in laparoscopic surgery. |
